Favour Bello  Photo credit: Google  It was another sunny day in Harmattan, only this time, it was more than just another random day at the University of Ibadan. For the first time in the semester, students were unbothered about lectures and tests and only spoke about the 77th convocation ceremony held from the 11th to the 15th of November 2025.  On the first day, all roads led to the International Conference Center (ICC) close to the University's second gate. Graduands were seen in their flowing blue gowns and high caps. You could spot a graduate with their smiley faces and exquisite dresses. Even under the sun, the males wore suits, and the females were not without makeup, luxurious wigs, and braids, telling us their days at UI were finally over. Parents and guardians, on the other hand, were as excited as their graduands. Agbadas with Fila and Gelé took over the day. It was as though all parents had a chat group to pick an outfit for the day.  Everything seemed per...
